Architecture &
Interior Design
Thoughtful spaces. Cohesive finishes. A clear path from your first ideas to a home that works beautifully.
Discuss Your ProjectDesigned around the way you live
A considered home starts with a considered plan.
The best renovations bring the layout, architecture and interior details together from the beginning. RestorationHUB helps homeowners connect their vision with practical planning, material selections and construction coordination.
Whether you are rethinking a kitchen, renovating an entire home or exploring an addition, we help define the priorities before work begins: how rooms connect, where storage belongs, how light moves through the home and which finishes make the whole space feel complete.
Our services
From the floor plan to the finishing details.
Residential Architecture & Planning
Explore layout changes, additions and renovation concepts with attention to circulation, natural light, proportion and the character of your home. We coordinate with licensed architects and engineers where the project requires professional design, structural review or permit drawings.
Interior Design & Space Planning
Shape comfortable, functional rooms with a coordinated direction for furniture layouts, lighting, storage, color and architectural details. The goal is a home that feels personal and works for everyday living.
Kitchens, Bathrooms & Custom Details
Bring cabinetry, countertops, tile, plumbing fixtures, hardware and lighting into one clear plan. Consider built-ins, millwork and practical storage early so the details support the way you use each room.
Materials & Finish Selections
Build a cohesive palette of flooring, stone, tile, paint, wood and metal finishes. We help weigh appearance, maintenance, durability, availability and budget before selections move into the construction scope.
Whole-Home Design Coordination
Create continuity across connected rooms and renovation phases. Coordinate transitions, trim profiles, doors, lighting and finishes so individual decisions contribute to a complete home.
Design-to-Construction Coordination
Connect the design direction with trade coordination, purchasing decisions and the construction schedule. We work with your existing design team or help coordinate the professionals appropriate to your project.
Decisions with a purpose
Beautiful ideas, grounded in your home.
A material can look perfect on its own and feel wrong in the room. A generous island can become a daily obstacle if the clearances are poorly planned. We look at the whole picture before individual decisions become expensive changes.
- Start with your household, priorities and investment range.
- Consider existing conditions and construction feasibility.
- Coordinate materials, lighting and architectural details.
- Confirm the design responsibilities and deliverables in writing.
Architectural services, engineering and permit documents are provided by appropriately licensed professionals when required. Design fees, drawings, approvals and construction services are defined in the project proposal.

How it works
A clear process from conversation to construction.
Tell us about your home
Share the property location, rooms involved, your goals, inspiration and target timing. Existing plans or photos are helpful, but you do not need every decision made to start.
Define the scope
Review the existing space, priorities and budget. Identify the design professionals, surveys, drawings and approvals the project may need.
Develop the direction
Refine the layout and coordinated selections. Review proposed materials and key details alongside their effect on cost, availability and construction.
Prepare for the build
Agree on the written scope, responsibilities and next steps. Coordinate the design information with the construction team before work begins.

Common questions
Before you get started.
Can you help if I only have inspiration photos?
Yes. Start with the spaces you want to improve, what is not working today and a few examples of the look you like. We can discuss the next planning steps and the level of design support your project needs.
Do you work with my architect or interior designer?
Yes. RestorationHUB can coordinate construction with your existing architect or designer. We establish responsibilities, information needs and decision points so the design and construction teams can work from the same scope.
Will my project need an architect or permits?
That depends on the property, location and proposed work. Additions, structural changes and certain layout or building-system changes may require professional drawings and municipal review. The requirements should be identified before construction begins.
How much does architecture and interior design cost?
Fees depend on the project size, complexity and agreed deliverables. We discuss the level of support you need and provide a written proposal outlining the scope and fees. A project inquiry does not commit you to a design package.
Where do you provide residential design coordination?
We work with homeowners in Chicago, Winnetka and North Shore communities including Wilmette, Glencoe, Kenilworth, Northfield, Glenview, Northbrook, Highland Park and Lake Forest. Share your address and proposed scope to confirm availability.
